Freshworks revamps partner program with fresher options

Greater flexibility and faster return on investment the centrepieces

Freshworks, a cloud-based CRM and IT services management provider headquartered in the US, has launched a revitalised partner program which it promises will make it easier than ever for resellers and service delivery providers to adopt its tools.

The business was founded in 2010 as a provider of Helpdesk software, but pivoted in 2018 to supply a wide range of cloud-based applications – including Freshdesk, Freshservice, Freshsales, Freshmarketer and others. Its products have been widely adopted, including big customers like Bridgestone and Sony Music, and the company has set itself a goal of reaching US$1 billion in revenue by 2026.

Laura Padilla, SVP of channels and Aaliances at Freshworks, boasted that the updated program “makes it easier than ever for partners to do business with Freshworks and grow new revenue streams. Whether they choose to resell our customer and employee experience software or provide value-added professional services, we offer flexible monetisation options that eliminate complexity.”

Among the key features of the program is an offering for system integrators and solution providers that provides training, certifications and direct engagement with Freshworks’ own sales teams to share leads.

The program has enhanced support offerings for partners including marketing development funds, enablement and internal alignment, along with a sponsorship model.

There are also a range of sales engagement models that allow partners to select the type of model that suits their needs – everything from one-time commissions as sales consultants to ongoing opportunities as authorised or premier resellers.

According to Freshworks, premier resellers benefit from recurring margins on ever sale, full control over billing and renewals, and deeper customer relationships. Padilla even claimed that “partners who choose Freshworks over outdated, outsized solutions will realise a return on investment in days, not years.”

Sandeep Rao, CEO of Australian technology and services provider Exsead, is a satisfied Freshworks partner.

“Our clients demand a modern, AI-driven IT services management solution that scales with their business,” said Rao. “Freshworks’ platform delivers exactly that: intelligent automation, real-time analytics, and a seamless user experience.”
