End-to-end digital transformation company Wild Tech has appointed Dirk Vorster as its Western Australia practice lead to grow and build momentum in that market.

Speaking to CRN Australia, Vorster said what stood out to him about Wild Tech was its entrepreneurial culture or as he says, a “get in and get it done” attitude.

“The company combines that drive with digital transformation depth from AI adoption to managed services foundations. It’s a one-stop transformation shop with depth of capability to back it up,” he said.

Vorster’s previous experience includes leadership roles at Harvestaire and Fusion5, where he developed NetSuite practices, growing customer bases, and forging strategic partnerships.

For the next 12 months, Vorster said he wants to take advantage of the strong growth market in WA for Wild Tech.

“My focus is to build on that momentum by deepening relationships with existing customers and expanding our presence on the ground. We’re solidifying our base here and scaling delivery capability to match demand,” he said.

One of the opportunities Vorster recognises in WA is that more businesses are recognising the cost—and risk—of running fragmented systems.

“There’s a strong market push toward single-platform solutions, and Wild Tech is uniquely placed to meet that demand,” Vorster explained.

“The challenge is helping businesses move confidently and quickly. Every organisation has its own flavour, and we’ve got the tools to tailor solutions without complexity getting in the way.”

Vorster said WA is poised for “major growth”.

“The businesses that will win are the ones who get their digital foundation right. My goal is to help them do that faster, smarter, and with the right strategy behind them,” he added.

Commenting on Vorster’s appointment, Grant Wild, CEO of Wild Tech said Vorster’s experience in ERP, digital transformation, and business development makes him an invaluable addition to Wild Tech.

“His deep connections within the industry and expertise in fostering alliances will further enhance our ability to support businesses with tailored technology solutions. We’re thrilled to have him on board,” Wild said.

This appointment follows the recent addition of Dan Whittle as general manager – managed services last month, further highlighting Wild Tech’s ongoing growth and investment in industry-leading expertise.
