V2 hires Alvin Oh as AI and modernisation partner
Over the next 12 months, Oh and his team will harness data and AI to improve workflows and business processes to solve real, complex problems for clients.
Data and AI consultancy V2 has appointed Alvin Oh as its AI and modernisation partner to strengthen the company’s client offering.
Oh has more than 20 years of technology experience under his belt, where he has led multi-million dollar enterprise IT modernisation and transformation programs across industry sectors that include financial services, energy and utilities, retail and government.
He was previously the APAC application modernisation market offering lead at Deloitte Consulting.
Commenting on his new role, Oh said, "V2 is at the forefront of technological innovation, driven by exceptional talent and rapid growth. The powerful combination of Data and AI unlocks valuable insights and fuels enterprise growth.

On joining the team at V2, he said he was “impressed by the calibre of the team”.

“V2 has achieved rapid growth and delivered a number of significant client projects for large enterprises in a short period of time.”
Oh said they are at an inflection point in the industry, where regulation and compliance are ever increasing.
“Businesses need to manage costs tightly with a strong emphasis on ROI, optimise reinvestment, and increase customer engagement more than ever before,” he said.
“Data is exponentially increasing and AI is already revolutionising how business operates.”
Over the next 12 months at V2, Oh said he will be working with the company’s talent, applying frameworks and his modernisation experience.

Craig Howe, CEO and founder at V2 said data and AI is the top of the business agenda for the brand. He noted that Oh’s deep expertise in this area will further strengthen the consultancy’s client offering.

The company has also made other appointments in the organisation, this includes, hiring Matt Farmer as a board member and investor; Shane Baldacchino as director of cloud; and Steve Tzortzidis to director of data and AI and Dr Peter Stanski as CTO.
Founded in April 2023, V2 has over 60 employees. It uses data and AI to accelerate advantage for some of the world’s largest brands. The company focuses on delivering solutions to organisations in several sectors including financial services, retail and energy and utilities.
